Gender Sensitization and SOGIESC

Through SIDA SCO Strengthening Project, Gender and Development for Cambodia (GADC) conducted a two-day training workshop on Gender Sensitization and #SOGIESC to project partners with a total of 29 participants (12 females) on 5th 6th October 2023, Phnom Penh.
The objectives of this training are for participants to:
πŸ‘‰Become familiar with the Gender Concept in the spectrum.
πŸ‘‰Feeling inspired and connected to promote gender equality in their work.
πŸ‘‰Reflect on their perceptions, and beliefs about social norms and stereotypes in the life journey and how gender equality and equity concepts are relevant to work and daily life.
During the workshop, participants actively took part in several discussion platforms such as presentations, drawing, and clay​ pottery reflecting on gender concepts, using cups for SOGIESC demonstrations, stereotypes​ papers on the body& in the basket, etc.
This project is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (#SIDA) via Save the Children International in Cambodia.
