Media Advisory: Consultative Workshop on Gender Studies Curriculum in Academic

08 July 2014 – Joining a consultative workshop on gender study curriculum in Academic to address gender studies – potential aspects of gender course to be taught and barriers for universities to provide such course to college students – in higher education and gender related topics in curriculum will make college students to understand key gender issues, particularly related to Cambodia context.

Therefore, Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) and Gender and Development for Cambodia (GADC) aim to create the gender studies curriculum in the academic study for universities and builds the capacity of university lecturers to teach the gender course in their universities.

 WHATIntroduce a draft of gender studies curriculum to key persons and consult and gather the potentials  comments  to  improve the quality of Gender Studies Curriculum   
 WHOMinistry of Women Affair representatives, Ministry of Education Youth and Sport representatives,  public and private  academic institutions, and NGOs staff
