In the occasion of 112nd International Women’s Day 8 March, Gender and Development for Cambodia (#GADC) conducted campaign in the form of group discussion and reflection with the theme of “unpaid care work is work for all of us: from awareness to practice” on March 14th at Rong Damrey and Theay commune Baphnom district Prey Veng province. There were 66 participants joined this campaign (women:43, men:23). Among all participants, 2 female district councilors and 2 female officers from the office of social affair and social welfare in charge of women and girl affairs also presented in this event. This campaign aims to raise awareness of participants about the value of unpaid care work, and to link the concept of unpaid care work to the practical in their daily livelihood.
